Overview

1.      Promoter
The promoter of this prize draw is Sisaltech Ltd, trading as Sisalwool, a company registered at Midlothian Innovation Centre, Roslin, EH25 9RE. Company Number: SC433808 Any queries about the promotion should be directed to Sisalwool and not to MKM Airdrie or the Federation of Master Builders.

2.  Eligibility

o   The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.

o   Employees of Sisaltech Ltd, MKM Airdrie, the Federation of Master Builders, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

o   The Promoter may require proof of age, identity, and eligibility (such as a valid passport or driving licence and proof of purchase) and may refuse to award the prize or withdraw prize entitlement where eligibility requirements are not met.

3.      How to enter

o   To qualify for entry, you must purchase any Sisalwool product (excluding samples) from MKM Airdrie during the promotional period, and provide your name and contact telephone number via the online entry form.

o   Each qualifying purchase of a Sisalwool product (excluding samples) from MKM Airdrie during the promotional period will count as one entry into the prize draw, unless stated otherwise in the promotional materials.

o   Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or cannot be verified (for example, if proof of purchase cannot be produced) may be disqualified.

4.      Promotional period

o   The prize draw opens on the date the promotion is first advertised in‑store at MKM Airdrie.

o   All qualifying purchases must be made, and entries submitted, by 8:00pm on Thursday 3rd September (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the draw.

5.      Prize

o   There is one prize: a £500 MKM store credit provided as an electronic voucher or gift card, as determined by the Promoter. Prize must be redeemed within 12 months

o   There is no cash alternative and the prize is non‑transferable and non‑refundable.

o   The prize must be redeemed in accordance with MKM's own terms and conditions; the Promoter is not responsible for MKM's services or any issues arising from the use of the voucher.

o   The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.

6.      Selection of the winner

o   One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries, in accordance with the laws of chance, either by a verifiably random computer process or under the supervision of an independent person. The person responsible for overseeing the draw is CEO, Nic McCormick

o   The draw will take place on Monday 7th September.

o   The Promoter will take reasonable steps to ensure that only entries meeting the qualifying conditions are included in the draw.

7.      Notification and acceptance of the prize

o   The winner will be contacted by telephone using the number provided at the time of entry as soon as reasonably practicable after the draw, and in any event within 7 days of Monday 7th September.

o   The winner will have 48 hours from the time of the Promoter’s initial call or message to accept the prize. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner, or the winner does not accept the prize within 48 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw and select an alternative winner using the same process.

o   The Promoter is not responsible if the winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect contact details being provided, technical issues, or the winner failing to respond

8.      Winner announcement and publicity

o   In line with applicable advertising rules, the Promoter may publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place. This may include the winner’s surname and county and, if applicable, their winning entry, and may be provided to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

o   As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner will be asked to take part in a promotional handover with photograph, which may be used on Sisalwool’s social media channels, website, and other marketing materials. The winner may be asked to provide a brief statement or testimonial about their experience.

o   The winner will be given the opportunity to object to or restrict the amount of personal information published, while still allowing the Promoter to comply with regulatory obligations.

9.      Data protection

o   Entrants’ personal data (such as name, contact details and proof of purchase) will be collected and processed solely for the purposes of administering this prize draw, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner and, where required, demonstrating that a valid award took place, in accordance with UK GDPR and the Promoter’s privacy notice.

o   Entry to this prize draw does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications. Any consent to receive marketing from Sisalwool (or any partner organisation) must be provided separately, through a clear affirmative action (such as ticking a marketing opt‑in box), and entrants may enter the prize draw even if they do not consent to marketing.

o   Personal data will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the promotion and comply with legal and regulatory obligations, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

10. Liability

o   To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, misdirected, or otherwise not received or recorded, whether due to technical, hardware, software, network, or other issues beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

o   The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this prize draw or acceptance and use of the prize.

11. Independence from MKM and FMB

o   This promotion is organised and administered solely by Sisaltech Ltd, trading as Sisalwool.

o   It is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, and is in no way associated with, MKM Airdrie or the Federation of Master Builders. Any references to MKM Airdrie are solely to identify the qualifying purchase location.

12. General Conditions

o   By entering this prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

o   The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the prize draw (including but not limited to eligibility, the conduct of the draw, and the award of the prize) is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

o   The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the promotion at any stage if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable, but will always honour prizes already awarded.

o   If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, or any attempt to gain unfair advantage (for example, through fraud or tampering), the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, refuse to award the prize, withdraw prize entitlement, or disqualify any entrant.
